Thank you for producing a show for the HPR network.

By uploading your show you are agreeing that your work
will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution 
ShareAlike 3.0 License.

If any part of your work is not covered by this License
make sure to state that clearly in the audio as well as
in the show notes.

You're work is done - unless you want to help us out
a little bit more.

To make life easier for us when we are posting could you
please upload a txt file with your show and add ID3 tags
to the MP3 file. If you don't have time that's fine as
well.

FILENAME:
The format for your files can be anything you like but 
please try and keep the same filename the same and change
the extensions of the audio and shownotes. In general a 
good naming convention is your name or handle followed 
by the show title and then extension.

Eg:
  my-name_this-show-is-about.mp3
  my-name_this-show-is-about.ogg
  my-name_this-show-is-about.spx
  my-name_this-show-is-about.txt

METADATA TAGS:
The format of the ID3/OGG tags should be:
  TITLE   {Your show title}
  ALBUM   "Hacker Public Radio"
  ARTIST  {Your name/handle}
  GENRE   "Podcast"
  COMMENT "http://hackerpublicradio.org"
          {Then the shownotes}

SHOWNOTES:
To make life easier for us when we are posting could you
please upload a txt file with your show. We will use this
information to fill out the website. The text file should
follow the following format:

o It should have the same name as your show but
  with the ".txt" extension

o The first line should contain your name or handle. If
  you have released a show before this should be
  *exactly* the same as on:
     http://hackerpublicradio.org/correspondents.php

o The second line should contain a the title of your show.

o The third line should be the series name or just leave
  it blank. If you have released a show before this should
  be *exactly* the same as on:
     http://hackerpublicradio.org/series.php

o The remaining text can be any other text you like and
  may include html markup.

o If you have additional slides or attachments we will
  try and facilitate hosting those as well.

FORMATS:
As well as MP3 we also accept your shows encoded in ogg and 
spx format. If you don't want to make those that is fine as
we have a conversion script to make the different versions.

SCHEDULING:
After you upload your show we will process it and then put it
in the queue directory. Your show should also appear in the 
http://hackerpublicradio.org/calendar.php. Please note that
it may move around based on the scheduling rules. If you wish
to reserve a particular time then please contact us.
